Hi! My name is Debbie Parker and I am so excited that you are thinking about booking your upcoming adventure with FOX Travel. Let me tell you why I am the perfect counselor to help you make this trip into the vacation of a lifetime.

I started in the Travel Business in 1999 so I have lots of experience with all types of travel and that is what you need - someone who knows destinations and has actual experience of the places you want to go.   I understand the importance of family travel as I am the mother of twin daughters and soon to be the grandmother of 4. My personal family vacations started when I began to take my twins on trips for their birthdays instead of having parties.

I tricked them into thinking it was all about fun instead of education - traveling to various places and experiencing different cultures is the best learning experience ever.  For instance, on the girl's 13th birthday they wanted to see Hawaii, so we took a cruise around all of the islands.  They were fascinated by the differences just from one island to the next. We also enjoyed an Alaska cruise and they just thought that they were riding on a giant hotel to climb glaciers and seeing cool animals.  Instead, they were learning about the native Alaskan culture and experiencing beauty, nature, and learning how to make important financial decisions - like what souvenir to purchase with their limited funds.

Now, years later, my girls love to travel with their own families!  Go figure. I applied the same philosophy to my nieces by giving them their choice of a trip upon their graduation from high school.  One chose New York and we saw the Museum of Art, 911 site, Empire State Building, Ellis Island, and 2 plays.  Another chose an Eastern Caribbean cruise and we saw the Bahamas, St Thomas, and St. Maarten (we participated in the America's Cup).  The 3rd chose London and Paris.  She was Harry Potter all the way and only later realized how much she experienced besides Hogwarts.  In fact, none of them knew how much culture and history that they were witnessing in addition to having "fun."

My personal travels have taken me far and wide.  Some of my favorite places and events are Iceland, Greenland, Giants Causeway in Ireland, Military Tattoo in Scotland, The Andes in Chile, kissing the Blarney Stone in Ireland, the monkeys of Gibraltar, the Ice Bar in Stockholm, and Copacabana Beach in Rio!   I am a big fan of cruises.  You get to unpack one time and then see so much.  How else can you see Northern Europe and the Baltic, Great Britain, Iceland, and Eastern Canada before heading into New York Harbor?  There is nothing more breathtaking than watching Icebergs calve and seeing all of the beauty of Alaska from the balcony of your own stateroom.  If you haven't seen the Mediterranean Sea at sunset, then you haven't seen a sunset.

However, with everywhere I have been and everything I have seen, there is still so much more to see and do.  I have my own bucket list that includes Switzerland, the Panama Canal, and the South Pacific.  Do you have a bucket list?  Come to see me and let's explore your list together.

The Outback Australia

"Debbie, Had a wonderful time [in Australia]. We covered a lot of ground, and saw many things. They keep you hopping for 20 days, and we do realize one has to do that to see and do all we did. From the coastal cities to the Outback, to a tropical rainforest, to the temperate forests of New Zealand, we saw such a variety. It wasn't just what we saw, but what we experienced that made it memorable. We had cocktails at Ayers Rock at sunset, a foodie tour in Sydney, a balloon ride over Tablelands near Cairns, to a Jet Boat ride on the Shotover River. That is to name but a few. The bright spot was coming home to Houston, being on the escalator to Baggage and seeing a driver with 'Harold and Carole Kergosien'! I could have kissed you at that moment, Debbie! We were so tired, and not to worry about getting our car was great! Thanks, again! Our best!" Carole
