What to Expect on Boarding day

• Passengers with Uniworld transfers will be met at the Budapest Airport and taken to the ship.  Transfers are supplied by Uniworld for arrivals on the first day of boarding and the day of departing the cruise.  All other transfers are the responsibility of the cruise guest.  Subject to change.
• Before you leave home, apply your bag tags to your luggage and label the tag with your identification: Name, Address, Phone, E mail.

Temperatures will vary:  Expect 30s to low 50s F which may vary.  Numerous Christmas markets are featured on this cruise so expect some walking.   Optional local tours are also included in your package.

Pre-Cruise Hotel

All passengers may choose their own accommodations in Budapest and Munich. Numerous high-quality major hotel companies are in both cities, such as Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Hilton Fisherman’s Bastion, Marriott International properties, Intercontinental, Kempinski, Corinthia, and more. There will be group hotels available, but you may stay at a hotel of your choice.

Terms & Conditions 

•        Fox Travel and Uniworld River Cruises Terms & Conditions apply.
•         Payment Policy/Fees – Subject to cancellation fees as cruise is a complete exclusive ship charter.
•         Port charge, taxes, fees – $230/person
•         Immigration/customs, passports and visas – Are the responsibility of each passenger to present required, valid documents
•         Payment Schedule – See above
•         Optional Travel Protection Insurance – See below.  This coverage is highly recommended. Cruise is a NON-REFUNDABLE ship charter.

NOTE: This is an exclusive trip on a fully chartered private riverboat ship, the UNIWORLD Princess with 64 cabins.  Per the UNIWORLD charter contract, payment is subject to cancellation penalty.  Add on optional travel protection insurance in case your plans change.  Ask your Travel Advisor for a quote.  You can include airfare you buy on your own.

Approval and Payment for Service: The UNIWORLD Boutique River Cruises charter voyage on the UNIWORLD Princess is subject to cancellation fees.  Fox Travel administrative charge is an additional $50/per person.  By purchasing this cruise you have authorized Fox Travel to charge your credit card for the total cruise cost and you are responsible to pay the total cost you have approved to Fox Travel for accommodations on the UNIWORLD Princess.  You agree to pay the total cost of my cabin or suite I have authorized herein to sail on the UNIWORLD Princess river ship December 8-15, 2025. I confirm I understand and will abide by the Terms & Conditions of Fox Ascoli Travel, Inc.(d/b/a Fox Travel) and Terms & Conditions of UNIWORLD Boutique River Cruises. I understand and confirm certain payment transactions I have authorized are subject to cancellation fees or are not refundable on the dates required,  I understand no refund will be paid to me for my cancellation in writing, verbally or by withholding installments and deposits when due based on payment schedule above. No refunds will be granted for late arrivals, cancellations without written or verbal notice or delayed arrivals, no shows, early departures or any cancellation, delay, injury, death, disease or disruption per Terms & Conditions policies included above. I confirm and agree that all payment transactions I approved to purchase accommodations on the UNIWORLD River Princess constitutes a contract between me and Fox Travel.   I agree I will not withhold payment, dispute or initiate a chargeback process for payment transaction I have authorized on my credit card for cancellations described above for partial or final payment. I understand that I am solely responsible for providing required valid Passport and Visa documents when and where required by each country or by UNIWORLD Boutique River Cruises. I understand Fox Travel are not vendors, suppliers or sources to provide documents or instructions to prepare required Passport or Visa applications or interpretation of Passport or Visa requirements for each country I visit.

Travel Insurance is highly recommended through Fox Travel via Allianz Travel Insurance which is available to legal residents of the United States.   See below.

You are strongly urged to buy optional Travel Protection Insurance.  Fox Travel, offers Allianz travel insurance coverage for residents of the USA for protection while ON the ship and OFF the ship including travel delays and accidents in transit.  Allianz is a worldwide leader providing travel insurance coverage options.    Specific Cruise Travel Insurance Plans:  Allianz Travel Insurance assist you if you get sick or hurt; if your baggage gets lost or stolen; if you must cancel your cruise at the last minute; or if anything else happens to disrupt your vacation.   Leading the industry with the largest range of insurance products for both domestic and international land, air, and sea travel, Allianz makes it safer for you to explore, and simpler for you to exceed expectations—before, during, and after the cruise.  Insurance fee varies by: Age of the insured, state of residence in the USA and insurance coverage selected.   Residents of other countries are responsible for arranging their insurance coverage.  In addition, you are responsible for assuring you possess a valid passport and supply required travel documentation including visas required by the countries visited during the riverboat cruise.  Castaways Travel and Fox Travel are not vendors, suppliers or sources to provide documents or instructions to prepare required Passport or Visa applications or interpretation of Passport or Visa requirements for each country visited while you are on your trip.
