Beauty and the Beast Cruise
We have told you all about Disney’s character-themed cruises with Avengers and Star Wars, but here is something pretty special. Disney has partnered with one of Fox Travel’s favorite river cruises, AMAWaterways, for a special Beauty and the Beast-inspired cruise down the Rhine. You will visit Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, and of course, France, where the story takes place. This all-inclusive river cruise will allow you to immerse yourself in all things Beauty and the Beast like getting to visit the little village of Riquewihr, which was one of the inspirations for the film. Like all the other character cruises, you will have the opportunity to partake in themed meals, showings of both the original Beauty and the Beast, as well as the new live-action one, and more. The cruise, which has 8 sailings runs from June through August, and starts at $4789.00, not including air. Star Wars Land and Hotel
Update: Disneyland will open its Star Wars Land in the Summer of 2019 and Disney World will open in the Fall of 2019. Coming sometime in 2019 will be the brand new Star Wars land at both Disneyland and Disney World resorts and a matching themed hotel at Disney World. If their past openings are any indicator, we will most likely see the opening of all three sometime before the Summer. Current renderings have these new theme parks and hotels to be something special, and if it is anything like the Avatar Pandora land, Star Wars fans are going to be in for a HUGE treat! Featuring more Star Wars rides, the Mos Eisley Cantina, and much more! The revolutionary hotel will change the way you think of traditional hotels, with this 100% immersive experience. Disney is also coming out with a brand new Star Wars show at Disney World!
Marvel Comics Superhero Hotel
Coming to Disneyland Paris is the brand new Marvel Comics-inspired Superhero hotel, called Hotel New York. An opening date has not been revealed at this time, but rumors are that the exterior of the hotel will resemble Stark Tower and the interior will feature costumes from the movies. The hotel will feature items from Iron Man, The Avengers, Spider-Man, and many more! If you are an Avengers fan you may want to pencil in a trip to Paris shortly.
Marvel Disneyland
With a just confirmed open date of the Summer of 2020, Disneyland will have a new team rolling in. Joining Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission Breakout! will be Spiderman, Black Panther, Dr Strange, and more. These new attractions will be taking over A Bugs Life in California Adventure.
Additionally, Iron Man will get his ride at Disneyland Paris, and in Hong Kong, fans will get to team up with Ant-Man and Wasp in a brand new ride. Both will also open up in 2020.
